Welcome new and current subscribers,
Recap- Last week we provided one chart with one scenario, results below. There is no right or wrong way to trade. Obviously the correct way to trade is to make money and the incorrect way leads to losing money… or so one thinks. Unfortunately, there may come a time (hopefully early in your trading career) where you do make money, but by doing all the wrong things, which gives you a false sense of self-confidence. Don’t mistaken luck for skills.
Ring around the FEDsie- Bull case: The labor market and jobs data are still strong, so unless we see a crazy spike in unemployment, BTD! Bear case: Inflation is still elevated above 5%, and if the labor market is strong, then the FEDs will never achieve their 2% inflation goal, which leads to aggressive rate hikes in the near future. The aggression will slow the economy and inevitably cause more layoffs. So, will the the labor market eventually crack and we enter a recession? Yup, STR! Of course, we may already be in a recession… The Spooz has become a circus show.
The bond market knows all- We will use the TLT chart to keep the inflation narrative in check. There may come a time in the near future (~1-2 months) when Manipulator Marco may decide to use the TLT market to trap new buyers (~$5T), but we will entertain the idea at a later time. Don’t listen to what the “pros” say, watch what they do.
From limp to leap- Acts 3:1-10: A lame man sits at the temple gate called Beautiful every day, so that he could beg from those entering the temple. When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple, he asked for money. But, Peter said, “I don’t have silver or gold, but what I do have, I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” So the lame man jumped up and started to walk. He was overwhelmed with joy- leaping and praising God. The lame man asked for what he wanted (money) but in return he received what he needed (healing).
Faith is the secret ingredient- When God meets your needs, He may not give you what you asked for, but what He provides will always be greater than what you thought you wanted. We are all constantly going through different seasons of life, but in every season, everything that you pray for has already been given to you - it just takes faith, and sometimes being in company with those who are faithful, to realize. God will always exceed our expectations.
I too can relate to the lame man- When I started this service, I thought that sharing my market analysis could be a nice way to earn passive wealth. Little did I know, starting my Substack would also help me accumulate a wealth of knowledge, and my personal trading career has propelled by leaps and bounds ever since. Thank you God for giving me what I didn’t know I needed.
Come for the market analysis, stay for Jesus- Before the black swan croons, we have sent out 3 warnings. I want to personally thank everyone who have been a part of our journey. I am truly grateful to have a platform where I am able to share my story, and I hope it encourages you to keep fighting. Jesus is the gift that keeps on giving.
