Welcome Attackers,
A wise man once said, “Do what you like in life, not what you feel you should do.”
Straight out of college, God provided a job for me at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Although I was working at a reputable firm, after a few years of averaging 60-hour work weeks and 3-hour daily commutes, I felt unfulfilled. This job provided money and security, but I had to sacrifice time. I made connections, but I didn’t have intimate relationships. My presence at church and also at home was non-existent. Luckily- one night in the office, while I was working incredibly hard browsing through the web, I stumbled across a Youtube video of a penny-stock trader, Timothy Sykes. He was making money on his laptop from the pristine Italian-leather seats of his Lamborghini, and from this moment on, a seed had been planted that would forever change my life.
“But seek first his kingdom, and these things will be provided for you… For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.” Luke 12 verses 31 and 34.
Working my 9 to 11, yes am to pm, it felt like the trajectory of my life was propelling in the wrong direction and further away from God. I had no sense of purpose, working towards someone else’s goals. No matter what I would try to do, God always seemed to be right there with me, holding an invisible rubber band around my waist, ready to snap me back into proper alignment if I were to ever stray too far off on my own. The irony of my life was this: while I started out being tempted by the monetary treasures of this world, along the way I found the true riches and glory of His Kingdom. Living life in my own strength was mediocre. But, when I depended less on me and more on Him, God gave me a brand new revelation of his goodness. Where you currently are, is not where you’re going to stay.
The Rubber Band Man Concept- our strategy this week for the S&P500 Futures is simple. If the rubber band man travels north, we expect price to snap back towards X; if the rubber band man travels south, we expect price to snap back towards Z. What are X and Z? Find out more below.
